...Impressive at Michael Schultz (Berlin, Beijing, Seoul) were the small-scale landscapes and figure paintings by Bernd Kirschner, the watercolors (blossoms and fruit) on handkerchief (!) by Shen Liang (who otherwise prefers somewhat larger formats), and the ceramic objects (cars, radios, TV sets) with traditional Chinese ornamental painting from Ma Jun. New at Schultz: Charlotte Eschenlohr with compelling urban scenes. Eschenlohr is also taking part in the group show ‘Swan Stage’ at the ‘With Space Gallery’ (Beijing und Seoul) in 798, together with Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Cornelia Schleime, and others...”
